Security & Professionalism are our trademarks.

S.A.M.S. was established in March 1987 by three former army officers with the aim of offering a professional, comprehensive security management service. The simple fact of the matter was that the principle of a man, with a gun and a dog, being "security" was not absolute.

The company was founded on the premise that security must be appropriately treated as a management function which, like all other aspects of management, directly affects the long-term financial viability of every business.

From the beginning, SAMS' operating philosophy has been to provide professional service of the highest standard, carefully tailored to the needs of individual clients.

Security management was - and to a great extent still is - a new concept in Jamaica. We have been in the unique position of not only introducing a new service industry, but also of setting professional standards for that industry.

Our competitors are still few in number, and we have maintained our leadership position through:

  • continuous assessment of the threats to security, both generally and in specific industries;
  • innovative and reponsive aproaches to solving security problems;
  • appropriate application of technology; and
